Litigation & Disputes

With litigation there are rarely any outright winners. Winning a case seldom results in getting a money judgment fully paid together with costs in full. Consequently, it is vitally important to remain open minded, realistic and as objective as possible and to focus on trying to resolve a dispute as rapidly and cost effectively as possible.

This is not to say that whilst litigation is ongoing that it should not be dealt with using the full range of tools and tactics available and this is where experience, nouse and legal knowledge of a good litigation solicitor can prove invaluable.

In requesting clients to be open minded and flexible we would be somewhat hypocritical if we were not to adopt the same approach. Some areas of litigation now lend themselves to risk sharing or even situations where the solicitor takes effectively the entire risk with such matters as personal injury. We will always look at every case on it’s merits and explore with clients the best options for funding litigation.
